අද අපි කතා කරන්න යන්නේ 1994  වර්ශයේ සිට computer game මාලාවක් ලෙස අප වෙත පැමිණි 2014 වර්ශයේදී චිත්‍රපටයක් බවට පත්වූ franchise එකක් ගැන. 1994 වර්ශයේ The Need For Speed නමින් ආරම්භ කර 2020 වර්ශයේ එලිදැක්වුනු Need For Speed Hot Pursuit පරිගණක ක්‍රීඩාව දක්වා පරිගණක ක්‍රීඩා රාශියකින් තරුණ හදවත් දිනාගත් Electronic Arts සමාගම Dream works සමාගම සමගින් එක්ව 2014 වර්ශයේදී The Need For Speed නමින් චිත්‍රපටයක් එලි දක්වනවා. වචනයේ පරිසමාප්ත අර්ථයෙන්ම Need for speed යන්න පෙන්වා දෙමින් Lambogini, Ford Mustang, Koenigsegg Agera R වැනි වේගවත්ම මෝටර් රථ යොදාගෙන නිර්මාණය කල මෙම චිත්‍රපටය ඇමරිකානු ඩොලර් මිලියන 203.3 ක Box office වාර්ථාවක් තබමින් 6.4/10 ක IMDB දර්ශකයක් හිමි කර ගන්නවා.
