චිත්‍රපට රාශියක් ගැන කතා කිරීමට තිබුණද පැරණි චිත්‍රපටය ගැන කතා කිරීමට සිතුණි. කලක් ගෙවුණද අදටත් තරුණ්‍යයේ සිත් ඇද බැද තබාගෙන සිටින චිත්‍රපට මාලාවක් ගැනයි අද කතාව. ශ්‍රී ලංකාව තුල වැඩිහිටියන්ට පමණක් අයිති ගණයට වැටුනද නව යොවුන් වියේ පසුවන දරුවන් වෙනුවෙන්ම නිකුත් වූ The American Pie චිත්‍රපටය ගැනයි අද කතාබහ. ච්ත්‍රපටි මාලාවක් වූවත් 1999 නිකුත් වූ The American Pie චිත්‍රපටය වෙනම ප්‍රසිද්ධියක් උසුලනවා මෙන්ම එහි The American wedding, The American Reunion  නමින් තවත් චිත්‍රපට දෙකක් නිකුත් උනා.

The series shows how a young man goes through his school life and eventually resolves his love problems as he faces a lot of funny incidents due to a father-like friend he has to stand by. A legend among the youth, this film is a must watch for those who love comedy.

Jason biggs plays the role of Spencer, one of the most prominent characters in the series, and the beautiful Mena Suveri plays the role of Heather.
